15 months maintaining - and I have decided to step away from spark people. Whilst SP has taught me so much, I know it is time to get off the computer and start living my real life more fully.
I might check in from time to time - but certainly not every week.
Thanks for all my spark buddies - and everyone in the spark community who helped me get to this point.

Intuitive Eating
After tracking fairly religiously for almost 17 months, and maintaining for 11 months (Since Nov 16 2011) I have decided to stop tracking my food.
Tracking helped me learn so much - but I also forgot much. Forgot to trust my body to determine what it needs. Forgot that I know what a healthy diet is. I now know about portions and calories - so I feel well armed to try a freer approach to food.

& aim for 1200 exercise minutes per month

From now on, my goal is to shine.
Exercise and healthy eating has improved my energy levels, and the mild depression I suffered has quietened down. So there is nothing to hold me back!

    Just listened to Binging at 8 Years Old and man that one hit way close to home. I hear what she says and it makes sense, just not sure if I can make that mind change.

    I have a lot of work to do with my mind I guess.

    I have been riding the crazy train for 10 years now and I WANT OFF!!!! I am watching alot of her videos and it all makes sense to me but very scary as well. She is close to where I work and I am planning on having a face to face with her soon.

    All best with the physio treatment for that back pain! Interesting that you link depression to food cravings . . . that "comfort food" thing is often serotonin linked I think.

    You are so sweet taking time to comment on my most recent blog. Yes, I am extremely happy with my food choices at my parents. After I thought about it more I just need to spread the spark to them. That is my goal!
