My Goals:
Should be AT LEAST 40 pounds lighter, and if I weren't as tall as I am, I can only imagine what I'd look like! (I know appearance isn't what's most important, but I want to get to the point where I can stand to look at myself in the mirror and in photos.)

Want to lose about 30 pounds (preferably 40). Also, I'd like to get off my blood pressure medication and to have more energy.

My Program:
Really overwhelmed with developing a plan and sticking to it. I usually start and then quit whatever program I'm in.

Personal Information:
I live and work in the DC area.

It's the first day of SILLY SEASON. That's right, SILLY SEASON....the season that confuses us worse than changing the clocks twice a year. We don't know if it's going to be cold or warm, and the weatherman is an idiot and never gets it right anyway. We don't know how to feel, because we've blocked our emotions since New Years Day, having nothing solid to look forward to. Worse yet, we forgot how to LAUGH AT OURSELVES, because we've been stuffing so much into the short daylight hours, and still haven't noticed that the days are actually getting longer again!

SILLY SEASON RECIPE FOR SANITY: Some nut came up with flowers and chocolate in the middle of February, but we all know that flowers die and chocolate just permanently adheres to the butt, thigh, and hip areas (no need to actually EAT this stuff, just walking by it will have these effects.)

The answer is quite simple: BE SILLY. Look for humor in everything. Celebrate: You have a job! Laugh: You're not perfect! Be Thankful: You have food to eat! Tomorrow is another day, and it is a perfect time to find your INNER SILLYBODY and LET HER OUT TO PLAY!

Hi RElise! Im also happy to be your new sparkfriend! I'd just like to add on to what Ourmamam just have to take one day at the time...and take baby steps. Even though you have work and school anddd you're stressed, make your number 1 priority YOU. Schedule yourself some You-time which includes working out and eating healthy. You have a set time to be at work and a set time to be at school, now set a time to exercise be it at home or at the gym. Put it on your outlook calendar. :-) You are gonna have your downs and your lows, but lean on your friends that are on the same journey as you. It's not going to be easy. (I know b/c I
ve started over at least 5 times since sept lol, but the point is I'm back, got a new attitude and using spark and the tons of knowledge and encouragement that is right at my fingertips and yours :0)) You can do it! emoticon
