Thanks
I am excited about all the resources in this community. I hope to begin aquatic exercise next week to help with the weight loss and prepare for the surgeries. I am enjoying rediscovering cooking, although in my earlier days I was doing so for 4 kids. This is a bit easier. I hope the TKRs can give me back a more active lifestyle although I've been told I cannot go back into construction, so I may have to resolve to be more active and retired. I plan to try to volunteer with the VA once all the surgeries are over. I look forward to walking my dogs again, as I am sure they do. Best of luck as you continue on.

Hello welcome to sparkpeople and the Healthier Arkansas Team,
looking for support, motivation and encouragement, you will certainly get it here.

I have had total knee replacement on both knees and so glad I did. My doctor never told me to lose weight although I am sure it won't have hurt.
Each time I had the surgery I lost 30 pounds. But after going back to work quickly picked it all back up. I hope to lose it this time for good.

Much success on your journey you can do this!!!!
