I'm a mother of 1, wife, and take care of 2 dogs and 3 horses. I'm busy, and try to keep an upbeat attitude. Some days it is tough. But I love my life. Just not the stress sometimes. If I'm healthy, then the rest will fall into place. My goal is to eat healthy, and live healthy.
First 3 months on SP I have learned a ton. I've learned how what I eat fits on a chart of protein, fat, carbs, fiber...
I've learned how many daily tasks have exercise in them,
how days that I'm at the barn, picking stalls, picking up sticks, riding horses, are all exercise in their own right. So if I cannot 'workout' that day, I still get my workout!
I've learned that I can eat snacks, and not max out the fat, or the carbs. Some days apples are good, others popcorn works as a good snack. I've learned that it is good to eat carbs after a workout. That is what your body needs at that time, just don't over do it.
I've learned that everyone has problem days. Everyone struggles, everyone has issues in real life that makes staying on track hard.
I've learned that cooking is FUN! Sometimes it works, and others it doesn't. ;-)
I've learned that everyone makes a difference here. A kind word goes a long way. And with the support here, I've learned I WILL accomplish my goals!
With all of that said, here are the changes I'm going to make to my routines.
My workouts will be 5 days a week.
3 Tae Bo workouts (30 min core, 40 min cardio, 50 min fat burn)
1 walk routine on the treadmill - 40 minutes (or hike on nice days)
1 day - what ever strikes my fancy, at least 30 minutes of it.
I am going to try to work in yoga stretching after each and every work out. I want to fully maintain stretchability/flexability.
I need to break thru this plateau. Changing things up, I hope, will do that.

Trying to eat right, but still enjoy myself. The trick is finding time to 'work out'
I've lived in Missouri most of my life. I have a blood disorder that caused me to gain 40lbs in 2 months due to prednisone. Now that it is under control, I've FINALLY (after 3 1/2 yrs) have been able to break thru and loose the weight. So far I've lost 37lbs.
Mother of 1 - (16). Wife to a husband who, most of the time, thinks he is still a kid. We have 2 dogs (Australian shepherds) and 3 horses (all quarter horses) soon to be 4.
I have a job I love that is EXTREMELY stressful.
