Eating Healthier for a Better Me

Wow. So I've been on Sparkpeople since 2006. In 2007, SparkPeople helped me get down to a slim 114 lbs! I was so proud of myself, I skipped the "maintenance" phase and left the site for good. Whatever good eating habits I learned, I forgot and I went back to unhealthy diet and exercise. I'm back again, and dedicated to a better life! Riding my horse at least 4 times a week. Taking every opportunity to sweat! That means long walks with my Westie, Diesel...and hikes in the walking trails around my apartment.

Cook more organically...and skip the drive thru unless I have a plan.

What kind of riding do you do? What kind of horse do you have? My horse was one of the biggest inspirations for getting fit - I want him to be fit, so shouldn't I? I'm amazed at the difference in my stamina, and the core strength makes me ride so much better.

Hey! Thanks for adding me! I'm with you... I hit a big wall about a month ago. Somehow I managed to get through the holidays without gaining a single pound but I feel flabbier and I know I haven't been eating as well as I should or working out as much. Here's to getting back on track!
