Slow and steady...

This is not my first attempt at this... I've started a couple of times and been successful, but have let life get in the way and fallen off the bandwagon for months at a time.

I know that this will be a slow, but steady journey. I know that I will have weeks at a time where motivation will be low, but I will also have weeks where it is through the roof. So far, despite the ups and pretty low downs I've had through this, I've stuck this out a lot longer than times past. I have made ...

I have made huge changes to my diet and become more in tune with my body than ever before.

My Program:
I've simply been tracking my food and cutting my caloric intake. There are days I've eaten badly, but for the most part, I've added a lot of fruits and veggies to my diet and portioned my food. I have also made several swaps to affordable organic options, when possible.

I started my cardio with the C25K program, followed by different interval routines, all on the elliptical. After about 6 months of this, I got bored and recently started changing it up by doing a little on the elliptical, treadmill, and bike each workout.

I've done strength training here and there, but nothing hardcore or consistent. I'm hoping to change that soon...

Personal Information:
I am 28 years young, live in Middle Tennessee, and have been married to my sweet husband for 4 1/2 years. We have two adorable cats, Keeva and Maev.

Other Information:
I originally joined SP a few years ago and lost 25 pounds, which I managed to maintain for about 6 months. I gained 15 of that back, and that is where I am starting at this time around.
