Cheers to a beautiful new ending...

Hi My Name Is Brandi and I've Hit the Official Over Weight Mark.

Sounds like I'm in AAA for weight loss :) lol....
But that's what I am here for.
I am a yo yo dieter and exerciser. I love to jump off the deep end and go "balls to the wall" then.........
I crash and burn.
I am here to stop all that and to make permanent healthy changes once and for all.

I am in my 30's (so my metabolism isn't what it used to be), I am a hairstylist ( and darn good at it too!), A homeschooling mother of 5 ( 3 girls and 2 boys from 18 - 8 and yes we are done...lol ) , A wife, and am an active volunteer member in our community.

I love what I do and I do it well,
If only I could bring that to the table when it comes to my exercise program.
Quite frankly I am a very busy person and I have made all the excuses in the world to not exercise.
(Even though I love it, It feels great to my body, and when I stop I completely stop and gain it ALL back +5lbs. )
I feel like I sabatoge myself and am here to find the support that I need.

I plan on starting off with the 30 day shred.

My Goals:
Is to tone my body with weights and turn this fat into muscle, to push myself....
To run just alittle bit further...
To get stronger with one more rep....
To see the changes in my body like I have seen my mentors do.
I want to reinvent myself.

My Program:
To let Sparkpeople keep inspiring me....
My main goal this year is to become consistant in my routine.
To no longer fall off the wagon for many weeks at a time.
To train for 5ks this year, I want to complete at least 3.
To keep hydrated and get control over my food.
I am proud of myself:
October 30th 2011 was my first 5k The Pumpkin Run.
I finished in under 38 min. there is room for improvement.

I am a Gator fan,
a hairdresser,
mother,
lover,
and a beautiful soul......


Other Information:
I whole heartedly believe I can become what I put my mind to....
I am a dreamer.

Just wanted to let you know that Mindful Motions Yoga is having a free class in the park (near the trails) at UNF this Sunday at 9am. They are great and its a nice outdoor fun and free workout!!!
