It's possible

Tired of seeing photos of myself and cringing. I lost about 10 kgs two years ago through a diet the speeds up your metabolism etc...gained it all back plus a few. This time I need to do it naturally and more importantly keep the weight off.

My Goals:
Need to get back to a shape that I actually enjoy seeing in the mirror, seeing in photographs and trying on clothes with - this unhealthy weight has ended!

My Program:
Sticking to calorie count required - have been eating vegetarian since starting this, for weight loss reasons. Not sure if this will continue as a life choice.
Excersize three times a week, at least 30 mins each time.

Personal Information:
Live in Centurion (close to Pretoria) in South Africa.
Quite stressful job and working on managing this better. Doing this programme with my wonderful parter - thank goodness we can help drag each other to gym!

Thanks for your comment on my SP!
Iv'e been out of Spark action lately.....my computer packed up and I've also been really de-motivated, but will have to get going again now!

Well done on entering the Walk the Talk...that must be coming up soon (?). Have fun - dodging dogs on leashes, kids and prams...etc, etc). It's a jam -packed walk!!!
I've done it a couple of times. Make sure you get there really early to avoid the traffic congestion.

So chuffed that you are learing chinese. Very good for the brain.
Perhaps you should watch a lot of chinese tv like Charlize did in US?
You know you will be wonderful at it.
I think that it is very cool.
Happy schooldays!

I aced it to my satisfaction - I am no perfectionist. I think perfectionism is overrated.

It had a bit of a whey protein aftertaste but that is fine- proved that it did go into the recipe. The secret is to use whole dried ginger and then grind it just before use. Tasted a bit like candied ginger.
DH was happy.
So cool that you are learning Chinese. Is it a complicated language?
Oh, and welcome back into the swing- you can do it my Friend

DH believes peanut butter bloats him and that ginger is a very good anti inflammatory.
Hehe, it should be interesting though....

Hello Rochiez!
I want to tell you about my recent culinary challenge.
DH wants me to develop a delicious crunchy ginger nutmeg cookie that he can take with him as a ratpack when he goes hunting. It must dry and keep well in the bush. And it has to have flax seed (I'll grind it up) and whey protein in it, as well as honey.
Can you imagine?
So I will take my Huisgenoot Cookbook and just chuck above mentioned ingredients in on top of everything else...
Will let you know what it turns out like
