Down to 200 and a visit to the Grand Canyon on the way to Oregon
Today- I've come long way, but still have a long way to go
Hi, I'm a 56 year old disabled female Veteran wo recently moved to the Oregon Coast after living many years in Florida, brrrr its cold here. Over the past year+ I've gone from 250 to 189, and still need to drop 50 more. I'm looking for support and any insights you may have, since I've hit a plateau and am getting discouraged. If any one needs my encouragement or advice, I'd be willing to share how I got this far.
I want to be healthier, thinner, sexier LOL, get a real handle on my diabeties and HBP as well as my cholesterol. I hope that losing the weight will lessen my pain and dependcy on medication as well
I'm eatting less and healthier foods. I try to move myself more and stretch consciencely, make my body bend and straighten as much as possible, and do a lot of motor skills with my hands arms and other joints, except my back and hips.
I've filled this out before, but it keeps disappearing. I'm living with my hubby and puppy on the Southern Coast ofOregon. On Monday we celebrate 36 years together, and I celebrate being back to my wedding weight!! WHOOHOO!!! We have 3 grown children 2 girls and a boy, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. I'm the eldest of 8, we were 5 girls and 3 boys. Except for Johnny who is in FL, and Cheryl who passed away from cancer 12 years ago, all ive in upstate NY, where both my hubby and I were raised. Graduated from MACS and hen on toSUNY at Oswego. Boh of us ended up in the Army, did our time and came home, me disabled and with 3 children, him, a tad wiser, and learning how to handle the situation as best he could.
