I am tired of 'wanting' to be what I am not - I think the reason I haven't succeeded up to this point, is the fact that I have been trying to do what others want me to do and be who others want me to be.
I have been both - at one time (many years ago) I was the very skinny girl - wore whatever and ate whatever.
Now, I am the overweight girl - who looks at herself in the mirror and gets very depressed.....who does NOT like what she sees and vows daily to do something about it.......
Only this time - I am wanting to do it to be, look and feel better. I am not doing it to please anyone else or because someone 'thinks' I should look a certain way. I am doing it for ME! :)

My Goals:
My main goal is to lose 40 pounds - AND find a healthy lifestyle along the way......
I have decided that in 2011 I WILL :
1. Lose weight!
2. Exercise daily - even if it is just 10 mins!
3. I will feel confident and be proud of myself!
4. I will make it thru workouts and stop with excuses!
5. I will make mini goals instead of focusing on the "big" goal of total weight I wish to lose!!!

My Program:
Just got started doing ChaLEAN Extreme and LOVE IT!!!
I LOVE Zumba and Turbo Jam!!!
If nothing else - I try to ride my stationary bike for a minimum of 30 mins.....

Personal Information:
I live in NC with my husband and wonderful daughter-who is 15. I have two 'active' dogs - who love me taking them for walks! (good for me & them!!)
