Still at it...

I re-upped my goal again in February of 2010 when I got back from vacation and realized that I wasn't as belly-less as I had thought I was and once again got more serious about eating better, using controlled snacking, running now that the weather is nicer and I don't eat as much meat. That was just a fluke when I checked the No Red Meat button in my nutrition information. I still eat it but I rarely cook it at home and have more beans and cheese as protein.

I'll check back in at the end of April when I'm supposed to be 159.

I wonder if I am an emotional eater? Have I been in denial about this for all this time? Today I was stressed out at the end of work (self-imposed, as usual since there really wasn't anything to get stressed over, other than getting home) and I wasn't really hungry, but wanted something crunchy when I got home and those peanuts wouldn't stop. So I had a handful, then a small dish, then felt a bit guilty but full and calm. I knew I should have had water but mentally stomped my feet until I ate peanuts. Hmmmm... this requires further self-examination. However, I should also give myself credit for allowing the ice cream to melt in the sink overnight so it wouldn't tempt me. emoticon

hi there :) read on the message board you love ice cream and just wanted to tell you you CAN still eat ice cream :) you can get skinny cow dippers, they dont have a lot of calories, also even mcdonalds kiddy cone is only 100 calories! just keep track of your food on the tracker on here (under tools nutrition) and you can have your ice cream and eat it to lol just remember moderation :) any way nice to meet you and good luck with your goals!
