This is just about the heaviest I was, probably about 205.

This was me at my lightest. I was about 155 before law school 3.5 years ago.

After college ended, I needed a change. So I went from 205 to 155 in about 8 months. I was still never really happy with how I looked, I think because I restricted my diet too much and despite regular Strength training, wasn't able to really reach my fitness goals, even though my weight goals were met.

Law school caused me to put back on 30 lbs over the three years. Since then I have slimmed down, but I'm trying to avoid my past mistakes. I'm maintaining at 170 and trying to ...

Looking to build muscle and maintain my current weight:)

Wonderful Stong Man Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 Men who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really Wonderul! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're Wonderful inside and out"

Hi Robert, on one of the msg boards you said you got a forerunner 405cx. How do you like it? I'm shopping for an hrm to help me with my marathon training, and I'm finding all the choices completely overwhelming.

Thanks for any advice you have.

Thank you for the encouraging words. I've found that the bigger I let myself get the more I hate exercising because it's become such a task for me now. My husband is in the Marine Corps and up until he got sick (he was diagnosed with Lymphoma in early 2010) he would run all the time - I regret not going with him now. I am hopeful that when he gets better I'll be in far better shape and we'll be able to run together!

Enjoy the time you spend being active with your wife! You never know when one of you may not be able to do so anymore.

And, CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss!! :)
