SP is a great resource.
Here I am, back at SP again.
My goals ... managing the weight because of my joints and acid reflux. Exercising for strength, flexibility, balance, cardio. Being consistent with healthy living. Being accountable to myself for my habits by getting on the scale.
I tend to use food when I am upset / depressed / anxious etc. Emotional eating is an issue. If I don't watch myself carefully, I backslide quickly.
My goals relate to healthier living in general. This involves body, mind, and spirit.
My struggle has been to remain consistent. It seems that I set goals and make a plan, only to get sidetracked by my own emotions.

For right now -
- Cardio minimum 1 mile x 6 days / week
- Weights / stretching minimum 20 minutes 6 days / week
- Drink my water
- Take my vitamins
- Journal food / exercise
My name is Marie and I live with my husband in a town of about 12,000 in Alberta, Canada. (No children because of fertility problems - endometriosis). I'm 59 years old.
I worked as a clerk in a bank for 25 years and now work as a part time bookkeeper.

So, I need a lot of alone time to keep my batteries charged. On the other hand, I really enjoy having one-on-one conversations with people.
Hobbies & Interests
So many interests and hobbies and not enough time.
- researching and organizing our family history, using photo editing software, scrapbooking, making jewellery, playing piano, drawing, reading, learning, cooking, and so on.
My favourite ways to keep active are walking, exercising in the pool, using weights and trying easy yoga poses.
My dear husband is retired, and he and I have the opportunity to spend time together, which is something I'm very grateful for.
