I am a girl that lived unhealthy for many years of her life.
I choose though through my faith in Christ to treat my body right and break that cycle. To live a life of exercise and eating right. Our bodies are made to be healthy . They are made to be moved. The changes that your body can go through are AMAZING! I have lost 35 pounds since college and have changed my life! My thoughts, attitude, and approach to food is WAY different. I highly encourage you to start your journey to be healthy because it is WORTH THE STRUGGLE! .....So since I started this site I have went up and down in my weight but this website has helped me to live a healthier lifestyle.

My Goals:
2014 Fitness Goals-Do 36 pushups on AF fit test
Run a race (hopefully half marathon)
Maintain weight of 135

I want to do a 10K and keep running.-done Sunburst 10K June 2010

I want to be ready for basic training for the Air Force. -done (Thunderbolt award-one of the fastest runners at basic! :)

Lose 15 pounds and get down to my happy weight (135) again

Run as many days as I can to get that runners body and eat whole foods like fruits and vegetables and stay away from junk food. -done 4/22/14

To sign up and complete a marathon :) Signed up November 7 2012.


My Program:
I run ALOT! In the past 4 years I have done 3 5Ks, 2 10Ks, 1 25 mile bikeathon,and 3 half marathons. I try to work out at least 3 to 4 times a week and run at least once per week.



Personal Information:
A girl who was the BIGGEST skeptic on losing weight I thought it was IMPOSSIBLE. I have lost a total of 35 pounds since my highest weight in college! I want to be a role model for girls that want to give up on themselves, because I was there. I used to believe I would rather eat whatever I want be fat and happy then eating healthy....now I know the importance of eating right!


Other Information:
I folow Jesus and I am far from perfect. I grew up hating christianity it was HIS LOVE that I liked!
Without God I would not be able to train for half marathons :)

    Thank you for taking the time to stop by! It really is amazing, the power of real, good food. I can tell when I eat junk, my body reacts instantly. My face breaks out, I feel moody and lazy. Problem is, I am an emotional eater that loves sweets. I am thinking of juicing greens to add nutrients throughout the day and kill my cravings for those silly sweets.

    Hi!! Thank you!!!!! Clean Eating is a "diet" (more like a lifestyle) I follow from Tosca Reno's book The Eat Clean diet. I eat tons of veggies and protein. I don't eat too much fruit. But usually I strive to eat 100% healthy & clean all week, then the weekends tend to be more like 80/20. I'm competing again now so every single meal counts so now I'm 100% ON. It's tough, but there are so many benefits. And I workout like a mad woman. Anyone can do it though - it sounds like you already are!!
