I ran a half this past January ... and so far found that it's enough for me. It was a lot of (treacherous) fun, but I got really burnt out on running in the process. I still pound the pavement a few times a week, but we'll see if I get bit by the bug again for this fall. I'm also trying to limit my lone-time cardio to 1 hr/day, so that would really kill the long run.
As for your first half though, don't forget to take LOTS of pictures! Like stalk every race camera person you see. Really! 1651 days ago
