I'm aiming to look like this. I want to wear this outfit for my husband again. That's the goal!

I am married and want to make my husband so proud. More than anything I want to be happy in my own skin. To have confidence in myself again.
I have always had a little more around my middle than most, but I have never really had a problem with it. When I was happiest with my body I was at 150 pounds. Yes I thought I could use a little bit of a weight loss but it wasn't the end of the world. I could wear what I wanted, and I felt confident.
At the end of my first year at college I had gained close to 30 pounds. Most of that was not having a regular workout and I was eating junk food like crazy. 8 months later I got married. My weight had maintained at 180 until after my wedding.
When I hit 200 pounds I found myself very discouraged about my body. I had gained 50 pounds by the end of my second year of college. I began working out. When I didn't see the scale move after a couple of weeks I became very unhappy and gave up. I didn't care anymore. If I was going to be big, then fine.
I gained another 35 pounds in two years. My husband told me he was worried about me and my weight gain. I blew him off acting as though I didn't care. But in reality I feared him leaving me for a more "attractive" woman. I started eating less and enjoying more water instead of soda. Somehow without working out I managed to lose 15 pounds. I was so excited. My husband was proud that I had started taking my unhealthy life into account.
But I hit a wall. I couldn't lose any more. Even adding a bit of exercise wasn't enough. The scale didn't move. I was depressed. I was able to keep my weight at 220 pounds. I kept eating the way I was. Not so much as healthier, but I watched my portions and I was still able to enjoy what I liked.
What finally made me see that things had to change? I was on a family trip and was having difficulty walking around. It was so hard to keep up with everyone. And then the pictures made me feel awful. I was the largest in the family. Twice the size of my brothers. And my husband. It was time for a change. I wanted to feel happy again. To feel healthy. To feel beautiful. My ultimate goal is to be 140 pounds, but my primary goal is to just be satisfied with myself again.

Clover hugs are better than regular hugs because they contain 4 times the heart, more fiber and fewer calories!
