Hi Everybody! In October of 2011, I started my Spark journey and managed to lose 25 pounds. I maintained for about 4-5 months, and then slowly, pound by pound, it crept back. I've still incorporated outdoors, exercise, and nutrition in my life, but obviously not enough! Example: I love to eat healthful foods, unfortunately I also love to eat non-healthful foods! I love to exercise, but I also love to curl up with my blanket and watch Hulu!

I finally can't ignore the scale, mirror, the way my clothes fit, or most importantly, the way I feel. Time to get back at it!

My Goals:
To get back to a healthy BMI

To re-achieve my goal weight of 130 pounds

To get back into running, beginning with a 5k race which is on Thanksgiving Day


My Program:
Being active outdoors, gym workouts, Ripped in 30 (Jillian Michaels) workouts, and yoga classes. As of right now, no specific order or overall program, just trying to improve my overall health and fitness and also enjoy myself a bit



Personal Information:
My husband of four years is my rock, my family (including 5 younger brothers) are also very important to me. I love helping with people. I work in physical therapy and love every bit of it.


Other Information:

    Hey! I am back kinda anyway lol. Just had my first baby in the 18th. So I have to wait about 4 more weeks til i can get cleared for exercise at my 6 week postpartum appointment. Just want to say hi and hoping things are going well for you!

    You are so tiny!!! I bet you are smaller than I am! I'm 5'7" and this morning am 144 lbs. I have an athletic/muscular build (always have). It doesn't take much for me to develop muscles. I used to weight train a lot and enjoyed it but lately I've been just trying to get whatever I can get in as far as exercise is concerned. I either do a run (usually 2-3 miles) or I walk. Or I hike in some trails. But I REALLY recommend Bikram Yoga for toning and rapid weight loss and body-restructuring. Google it and see if there is a studio anywhere near you. It's hell and torture but it produces amazing results!!!
