I've done it before.... I can do it again!

My Three Main Goals in Life Right Now:
1. Personal: Work on being a better wife and therapist
2. Financial: Pay off revolving debt and save up for a down payment on a house
3. Fitness: Lose at least 20 lbs but more than that, focus on getting TONED and LEAN!

My name is Rachel. I am 22 years old and have been married for three and a half years to an amazing, funny, handsome, and kind-hearted man. Initially after getting engaged I managed to gain around 15-20 lbs. After being married and being in college, I gained another 5-10. Soon I didn't even recognize myself and felt like I had no control over my own health or weight. In September 2011, I started taking control and using Spark people. From September 2011 to May 2012, I managed to go from 153 pounds to 128 pounds using this site and other resources! Unfortunately, I allowed myself to get depressed and resentful about some of my circumstances this summer and all the negativity in my life kept me out of the gym and in a cycle of reckless eating. When I finally weighed back in I had crept up to 146! Today on December 1, 2012 I weigh 143.... and I am ready to reclaim my 128! I did it before, I can do it again!

My Program:
Tracking everything I eat like a mad woman, staying on the lower half of my calorie range, drinking enough water, and going to the gym most nights for the elliptical, treadmill, stationary bike, jump rope, and free weights, and avoiding alcohol. Also would like to get into my P90X dvds again at some point and maybe try Ripped in 30.

Personal Information:
My husband and family are my most important things in life. I love working with people and helping them, I especially have a big heart for the elderly and those who suffer from dementia. I work in my dream field as a PTA.

Other Information:
"I need to create a beautiful atmosphere inside my body for things to flourish, for muscle to poke through taut skin, for weight to melt off. You are so tiny!!! I bet you are smaller than I am! I'm 5'7" and this morning am 144 lbs. I have an athletic/muscular build (always have). It doesn't take much for me to develop muscles. I used to weight train a lot and enjoyed it but lately I've been just trying to get whatever I can get in as far as exercise is concerned. I either do a run (usually 2-3 miles) or I walk. Or I hike in some trails. But I REALLY recommend Bikram Yoga for toning and rapid weight loss and body-restructuring. Google it and see if there is a studio anywhere near you. It's hell and torture but it produces amazing results!!!

Thanks! I am doing well, life has been crazy and I have been slacking on the sparkpeople/blogging front but I actually have quite a bit to start blogging about again - I joined crossfit and am addicted! I think it's the boost that I've been needing, I got a bit comfy in my routine and xfit is anything but comfy lol. New blogs to come soon, hope you're doing well too!!! :D
