Time for a little bootcamp!
In 2008, I lost 14 pounds with Spark and really changed the way I eat and exercise. I gained a few back right away and then did a pretty good job of maintaining. But with the recent holidays, I've put on a few more and have gotten above where I ever wanted to be again, so time to kick it into gear! I'd be happy losing just 7 but thought I'd shoot for a few more.

My Goals:
When I started, I thought it would just be a bonus if I lost weight, that I really wanted to focus on eating better and getting my cholesterol in check. But losing weight has been pretty fun, too. :)
My Program:
Just keeping a food diary has made SUCH a difference for me. Not only does it help me keep my calories in check, but it helps me see what I need to work into my diet, i.e. fiber. And when I have a day that I decide not to log, I usually go way over, so it's always a lesson to me that I'd better just track. As far as exercise, I've made some big changes since joining Spark. Before the Bootcamp, I would only exercise sporadically. Now I try to get at least 30 minutes of cardio and try to work a body area most days.

I love to cook and share recipes.
