I believe in the benefits of a healthy diet and exercise. I believe I can achieve anything I set my mind to. I believe that positive reinforcement is much more beneficial than negative. I believe I CAN do this!

Hi, my name is Leah. I've been on Spark for over a year and it has been a bit of a rollercoaster. I have made a lot of good habits stick, but still have my off days (and weeks, and occasionally months). I am about 20 lbs away from my goal, and have been stuck around the same 5 lbs for the past few months. I am getting married in September and I WILL feel fabulous in my wedding dress!

I am dreadfully inconsistent, but always optimistic! Thank you for visiting my page!

Mini Goals and Rewards: I know that this is going to take a long time, but I'm in it for the long-haul!!

160: new dress for bachelorette party - REACHED 7/30//2010 (159.8)

157: facial and mani pedi (reached 8/21/2010)

154: New phone

151: eyebrow wax and 2 albums

148: mani/pedi and facial

145: new bikini for honeymoon

My Goals:
* Get Fit!!

* Be able to wear a size 4

* Not freak out about stepping on a scale (done)

* Feel comfortable in a bikini and/or sports bra and shorts
* Get a six-pack again
* Improve my flexibility
* Finally get rid of my "perma-knot"
* Find new, active hobbies


My Program:
Exercise

Cardio 5x/week (either a class, rollerblading or the elliptical)

Strength: 2x/week (either taking the classes "Strength" or "Power Strength" or doing a DVD at home)

Stretching: after workouts and try to fit in a yoga class or DVD once a week

Diet

Trying to increase my veggies and fruits and limit my carbs. Eat in my range and not "blow it" at dinner and on the weekends

My name is Leah. I love music, movies, rollerblading, and good food. I'm kind of addicted to sushi.


Other Information:
Some hobbies: skiing (downhill), scuba, travel, reading, cooking, and now working out. :)
