A Healthy me in 2012

I am a 55 year widow. I am looking to get healthy and loss the weight I put on after my husband passed away almost 3 1/2 years ago. I work as a Pharmacy Tech for a retail pharmacy so I am pretty much moving all day long.

So pleased you've joined our local SparkTeam!

Taking care of ourselves ROCKS!

Looking forward to having you share your SPARK with us! We had a lovely meet 'n greet at at Dorchester Park last summer...kayaking, walking, passing a dish and great conversation as we got to know each other and put "faces" to our names! Last Feb. we got together at the Whole In The Wall and shared some conversation yet again! During the summers we enjoy a potluck picnic meet 'n greets. We are always open to suggestions & ideas for gatherings!

We're almost at the end of the 3rd week and you are managing some great walking steps, your average figure is brilliant, hope you will be brave enough next month to set a goal?!

Keep finding that Spring in your step and look back on april with pride!

RJ, so sorry to see you are feeling very ill, hope you are able to rest and the Doctor is at hand. Take good care and allow your body to heal without pushing it to workout. Sometimes we, as a species, are so busy being 'Human Doings' we forget how to be a 'Human Being'! So whilst you are unwell....... just 'be' my friend and relax.
