Rivet Kitty's Spark Page

2010 has brought many drastic changes to my life, some great, some dreadful. So far I've moved back to the beach, am in the process of getting a divorce (don't worry -- it's actually a good thing, mutual and we're still friends), started at UCLA, really dated for the first time in my life, and am attempting to tackle eating disorder issues that have plagued me since I was 18. It's been crazy. I'd like to think I'm wiser now, but life is a learning process. Let's hope 2011 is less tumultuous and ...

My Goals:
- Work towards 100, but stop losing weight when I am happy with what I see on my body, NOT my scale.

- Go for more walks.

- Fit between a 0-2, as I am about a 3 right now.

-Start living a sustainable lifestyle. I can't have a garden due to living in an apt., but I CAN start recycling, making sure I eat all the food we buy, and using less electricity.

-Buy organic as much as possible.

-Eat more protein less sugar (starting w/refined and HFCS).

My Program:
-Track calories as often as possible, even if I have to estimate.

-Do some form of cardio 4x weekly, more if possible.

-Strength train 3-4x weekly.

-Yoga as often as I can!

Likes: Reading, Rats, Music, English, French, History, Rome, Greece, Mythology, Steampunk, Sci-Fi, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Tattoos, Beatles karaoke. ;)

Dislikes: Traffic, Stress, IC, My weak knees.



Other Information:
I'm an English major at UCLA. I really love watching dramas and documentaries, however, I'm not too fond of comedies.
