My current goal is to 1.continue to record my food every day, 2 drink 10 C of water daily, 3 to exercise and be more active daily 4 to weigh myself regularlyl
I take part in water aerobics 4-5 days a week, swim laps and walk until the weather clears for me to bike again. I'm hoping to snow shoe again too.
Getting stronger every day! I feel great! April '09 was the start of an incredible journey into losing the weight that was effecting my health. It's been a great journey that surprisingly enough, has shown me that I could do what I didn't believe I could! My family is proud of me and that means the world to me!
I was born in Billings, Montana and have lived here my entire life. I have been married to my very supportive husband, Bob for 33 years and we have 5 children and 3 grandchildren with 3 more on the way in 2011. I am a Christian and love serving in my church. I take care of elderly and love that profession.
"It is rewarding to find someone you like, but it is essential to like yourself. It is quickening to recognize that someone is a good and decent human being, but it is indispensable to view yourself as acceptable. It is a delight to discover people who are worthy of respect and admiration and love, but it is vital to believe yourself deserving of these things." ~Jo Coudert
I hope you're having a good weekend so far, Sparkfriend! I just wanted to stop by and share a couple of great quotes with you. Keep pushing to reach your goals, one day at a time. Always believe that you are worth your absolute best effort...because you are! Hugs, Pixie
"My invitation to you is to begin living every moment as though you are miraculous and deserve to live an extraordinary life. Fake it if you must and keep faking it until it’s real to you. The gift you will be giving yourself is a lifelong journey of discovery, one that is infinite and infinitely rewarding. Begin the journey. Today. This moment. Now." -Robert White
I found this on Susan aka PUREHEART 315's blog. She just joined 12 Weeks Walking Team so her blog didn't show up in our running side panel but I typed in 300 miles from my zip code of 59501 and two labyrinths are in Billings. I was so excited. I had no idea there were so many in Montana...Kalispel and Helena and Bozeman. I love the contemplative aspects of walking a labyrinth and used to do it on a daily basis. My friend has meetings in Billings week after next so may bum a ride down and bum a bed in her motel room and check out your labyrinths. Will let you know for sure on Monday!
Hi, glad you joined the team. I lost 7# in August. I m not weighing in for a few weeks. We will be on vacation so I will be tracking and trying to stay within calorie range. Hopefully will get some walking in. See you next week!
