Making progress towards goals, but need incentive!

As a full time student at UNCW and the mother of 4 sons, grandmother of 1, I find that exercise tends to take the backseat to the rest of life. After a while, though, the lack of regular exercise and proper eating habits starts to take a toll. I am determined to make a difference in my life and my health. My Goals:
SW 213 lbs. on July 11, 2008

Dec. 2008 at 195 lbs.

Started back on SP May 2012 at around 194 lbs.

Down to 181 lbs. lbs on 10/21/12

Mini-goal to be 170 lbs or less by Christmas 2012.

Big Goal is to be 145 lbs. or less AND toned by 09/25/2013 for my 43rd birthday!!

Ultimate Goal is to fit into my size 8 wedding gown by my 20th wedding anniversary on February 28, 2014!

My Program:
I have cut my portion sizes at lunch and supper, as well as cutting out many of the carbohydrates that seem to end up on my plate. Walking and bicycle riding during the summer and fall enabled me to see a weight drop, but I have been using the treadmill and stationary bike for the winter months. I recently added weight training to build lean muscle tissue and burn fat!

Personal Information:
I am from Wilmington, North Carolina, so I really have no excuse not to get out and walk, walk, walk! I also have a lot of motivation, since living near the beach means wearing a bathing suit in public.

Other Information:
My husband and I like to ride our bicycles for exercise together. We are proud of the improvements that we have made in our times and speed. I also have a goal to hike at least one trail in each of the NC State Parks and eventually in each of the National Parks in the US!

Too funny, this indeed is such a very small world. Yes Victoria is my baby girl & I work with Vicki, she & I have know your DH, Roland for many years. Actually his sister & I were best buds growing up. Wow is all I can say!
