Hello! My name is Ally (Allison). I was married on 7/23/05, and delivered a wonderful, healthy boy named Logan on 9/24/06. I gained much more than the 20 healthy pounds you are supposed to gain during a pregnancy ... I think I gained that in the first trimester. LOL! I started Spark in March 2007, but fell off the "SparkWagon" when I became pregnant with my second child. I delivered my second wonderful, healthy boy named Bailey on 3/27/08. I work away from the home, FT, and desperately ...

I work away from the home, FT, and desperately wish to be a SAHM ... between wanting to be with my boys, hard economic times, and "the battle of the bulge", I find myself battling depression off and on.

My Goals:
My longtime goal is to reach 135 lbs by my 33rd birthday on 10/10/09!

My weekly goal right now is trying to stay on top of my Spark Teams, getting in my cardio, and trying to get in 3 30-min strength training workouts a week.

My Program:
I am doing a half-marathon running program on Tues, Thurs, Sat, and Sun.

For strength-training, I'm doing resistance band training on Mon and Wednesday with a rest day on Fridays.

Before I give you the link to the podcast I am using, I feel like I need to warn you! It is a C25K podcast. She uses Kanye, BEP, Ludacris...several of the weeks are Hip Hop. I know one week is all 80's. 1 week is all Michael Jackson 1 week all women...you get my drift! I like that she uses actual songs from the radio and not techno beats! BUT...the songs are not edited so if you have never heard the unedited versions of the songs, it can shock you a bit! She tells you when to walk and when to run.

Hi!! That is great that you are part of the Chester County team, where do you live?? Would love to meet up and walk -- do you walk in this weather? I'm delicate, lol. That's why I have a weight problem, I need to move!!!

Whew...I can relax, now! emoticon I didn't really think it was me, but I figured I'd check! At the least, I hoped it would make you smile. FINALLY and I are sticking with our motivation over here in Malvern...I've been on the bike all but a day, or two, of the new year. I do need to get downstairs to lift some weights, though...haven't picked that back up, yet. The food intake has been in line, so I feel like I'm back on track, but with improvements still to be made. Keep smilin'!

Thanks for your comment on my blog! What's keeping you from your goal of teaching? I enjoy the classroom immensely. I also love being able to spend the summers with my children.
