Hey there! My name is Kortney and I'm a 26 year old female living in Oregon. My whole life I've had issues (mentally) with my weight.... when I was younger I was a chunky girl and my family had no problem with telling me how chunky I was every chance they got. Then, when I graduated from high school I realized I could excercise more and control my weight; the only problem was I became obsessive! I lost 60 lbs (from 155 to 95 lbs), but I was too overly obsessed with food, I wouldn't hang out with family or friends for fear that they might offer me unhealthy food or that I wouldn't have time to excercise if I spent time with them. That's when I realized I needed to stop.... So I took another route to health! I started working out and eating right and was able to maintain a healhy muscular weight of 135 for the last 3 years. Then, in May of this year my fiancee and I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. During my pregnancy I gained a whopping 55 lbs! Now, my baby is 6 weeks old and I'm itchin to lose my baby weight, I've only lost 45 lbs so far which means I still have close to 10 to go before my wedding in September! I'm looking for a workout buddy or a mom's group to help motivate me during this struggle! I wish myself and all of you the best of luck on our journeys!

My Goals:
To get my pre-baby body back before my wedding!!!!

My Program:
Lets see... I try to eat something with fiber & protein or calcium every 3-4 hours to keep my blood sugar up, and I make sure I eat a healthy breakfast every morning after I do my morning run or gym routine. Also, I make sure I do some cardio every day, the amount of cardio depends on my mood, sometimes its only 20minutes, other times its 45. Oh, and the most important part! I reserve 200 calories of mine a day for a yummy dessert to reward myself at the end of the day :)

    Kortney -- Good Morning and Greetings from central Indiana!!! Just stopping by for a short visit and to wish you a good day. One of my short term goals is to visit as many of the SparkPages of members of the different teams that I am on. I try to visit one page per team per day (and, yes, I'm keeping track of the pages I visit; 475+ pages & counting). You are my "Backpackers" visit for today.
