Get lean and Stay Lean

Hey new friends, my name is Sherri. I am a stressed and scatter brained mom of three. I stay at home for now but used to be a dental assistant.Two years ago I lost 30 pounds by just exercising and portion control and just lowering carbs and sugar, increasing water intake. Hey new friends, my name is Sherri. I am a stressed and scatter brained mom of three. I stay at home for now but used to be a dental assistant.Two years ago I lost 30 pounds by just exercising and portion control and just lowering carbs and sugar, increasing water intake. I have gained about 8 pounds back. I stopped the exercising and went lax on the diet too. I just want to get lean and tone up with some definition. I live in Florida, so looking great in a bikini is also a goal. My family and home are my major interest, but putting myself forward has been a struggle this year. I would love advice on changing the things I eat into great things I would love to eat again and again. I do not have a problem with portion control but I don't deprive myself of cravings. I have those naughty things but use self control. I also like to workout daily. Usual workout for me is 30-40 mins medium to high intensity cardio ( running intervals or videos) followed by strengtheners, rotating body parts. I need to be involved in a community that offers motivation and support as well as gives me great healthy recipes to try for me and my whole family.

Hi Ringleader763, You seem to have the tools you need to a successful and healthier new you already!! Your fitness minutes will surely pay off, this is my weak area, you just need to learn portion control and choosing healthy foods and snacks. To me this is a lot easier, since it is summer and the fruit is so darn good!! So welcome aboard and I hope you don't mind, but I added you as a friend, and I love having new friends to share yours or mine success stories with!!
