Turning the page . . .

I'm turning the page on an old story in my family, and hoping to write a new ending.

My Goals:
I have farther to go than 30 lbs, but need to set something reasonable and reachable.

This initial goal will get my BMI out of the obese range and into merely overweight.

It will also get me back into my pants. Which is usually a good thing.

My Program:
Absolutely shunning fast food. 5 Guys has just moved to our town, so this is truly traumatic for me.

Ditching sodas, even diet ones.

Drinking water. I didn't even realize how dehydrated I was!

Getting off my duff.

Welcome! Iam very into kayaking too and love to watch bald eagles. I paddle with my family a lot- one of my favorite activities isto get the whole family out in the boats!

Hi and thanks for your comment on my page. Hiking the AT has been in the back of my mind for years, but now I can officially make plans for it, so I'm very excited! I'm also just getting into kayaking. So far I'm loving it! How was your late-night kayak? My brother and I are thinking about doing one with a local kayak group soon.
