Hope you enjoyed the stir-fry. Thanks for asking about Peter; he starts physiotherapy on Monday and sees the surgeon for post-op check up next Friday. He isn't in any pain as long as he doesn't try to do anything with his right arm. Getting lots of reading done, sorting pictures, etc. etc.
All the best to you, Keith & the teddies. Gail 1918 days ago
Thanks for the stirfry recipe. I shall try it tomorrow without the celery as both Keith and I are extremely allergic to celery in any form. Hope you and your husband are well. Love Sylva, Keith and teddies 1920 days ago
Hi Sylvia - you asked about my chicken stir-fry. It was a very simple one; I cut up 2 chicken breasts in 1" cubes, browned them in a little olive oil, added some cut up onion, celery and mushrooms, added a little low sodium chicken broth (just enough to make steam) and about a cup of frozen corn, covered it and cooked for maybe 5 minutes. Since I was serving it with pasta, I added some low sodium pasta sauce. If I'd been having it with brown rice, I would have left out the pasta sauce.
Hi Sylvia - hope it's warmer in London than it is in Toronto! We're having quite a snow storm and the temperature this morning was -10.
Peter's shoulder is still very sore; he hasn't allowed me to remove the dressing yet, although it could have come off any time after noon today. A friend called him about an hour ago, which was good, because I'm sure he's getting gired of talking only to me. His physio has been moved back a week (Jan. 30th instead of the 23rd) at the surgeon's recommendation. He still can't lie down, and is having a lot of trouble sleeping in the recliner, so he's very over-tired.
Hope you and Keith are well and that the teddies are keeping warm too. Gail 1926 days ago
