2 Be Fit and Healthy

My name is Rachel I'm 48 love to work out, be fit and healthy but right now I'm stuck in idle. I have managed to put on 15 lbs over the past 3 years...up and down roller coaster. Not sure what happened over time but trying to get back to where I used to be. I imagine it has alot to do with moving in with my fiance' of 3 years. I suppose being comfortable with each other is one thing but I refuse to let comfort food deter me from results.

Looking for that inspiration to help me turn things around and give me a boost. 30 year class reunion coming up need to look and feel my best....I hear 48 is the new 20...well I'd be happy with the new 40 at this point!

When I'm at my best I'm full of energy. Love the summer months and trying to get back into that 2 piece.... With time and SparkPeople I'm determined to get where I want to be. My goal is to lose 12 lbs in all and be toned.

Though I do exercise 5 days a week; carido and strenghtening I feel my workout reached a plateau. With challenges, suggestions and ideas from other SP members I know I can be successful at my feel good weight.

I enjoy being outdor motorcycle riding, skiing, hiking, swimming, traveling, shopping, and just being able to sit back and relax; just being myself.

I'm enjoying being a part of SP; knowing their are so many people with similar challenges and goals.

My Goals:
Beginning May 1st
Increase Cardio 60 min extra a week
Eat Starch carbs earlyin the day
Eat protein at least 3 times a day
Stop eating 3 hours before bedtime
minimize resaturant meals
eat nothing fired
have 1 cheat mel a week
set one goal that i can improve on for the next week

My Program:
Treadmill 20 minutes 5 days week 15/min miles
Elliptical 1o minutes 5 days week
free weights
medicine ball (5 lb)
20 min misc crunches, leg lifts
