We'll see how I look and feel when I reach the 130 mark if it is "right".
My husband and I go to the Y together,....... sometimes.
Eating in the lower calorie ranges and higher protein than the "pie" chart.
As I increase my exercise, I increase my calories. Still losing so far.
I am 5' 2" and something tall.
I am 50+, married to a Hoosier, (Notre Dame fan).
I like Socal perfume/cologne from Hollister.
I like to read Puritan paperbacks and Banner of Truth publications.
I have an active part-time job, cleaning rental houses at Gulf Shores, (for Halekai Family Vacations, on the web). It's only seasonal and becomes sporadic after school starts.
I have a new job starting the first week of September at the Y, so I will probably be getting in more workouts.
I am a PW, (preacher's wife). I enjoy it, but sometimes so many activities take over my life and I don't get to the gym for days. This has got to change.
CHANGED: I work there.

“Look to yourselves—take care that you may not lose, throw away or destroy all that we and you have labored for, but that you may persevere until you win and receive back a perfect reward in full” ~ 1 John 1:8, AMP.
God is showing me that if I am to truly persevere in this journey and walk in victory, I must watch how I think and what I say about it. Saying and thinking about how much I “hate tracking my food!” kept me from doing it for too long. I have changed that and discovered the joy of the challenge of making my nutrient values come in line while maintaining my calorie limits. And the funny thing? God led me to add two more meals to my tracking. I am thoroughly enjoying spreading my meals out more: the effect it is having on my appetite and the results I am seeing in my health and body.
You are in my prayers as we journey together. I pray God will show you where your own stinking thinking and bad attitude is undoing your desired end.
Have a great and successful March!

“A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.” (Proverbs 16:1-9)
Praying for you this New Year that as you look ahead with hope for good things, God will direct your thoughts to His will and prove it out through each step ahead in 2012. Remember:
Yesterday is gone—don’t let failures or successes of the past dictate your future. Use these to help you learn and grow, but realize each day is new with new possibilities. Don’t miss that by holding too tight to what was or has been, or letting it hold you. Walk forward with hope to new and better things to come.
Tomorrow may never be—Yes, make plans and plot courses, but do so with faith in the One who holds tomorrow, making your main goal that of watching for Him and following in His footsteps.
Today, this moment, this breath, is all the time God is gifting to me—live each moment to the full, making the best choices possible. Owning each moment, each breath, and making the most of it will take you to the end of 2012 without regret.
Happy New Year!

For days I have sought God for my Christmas greeting for my SparkFriends. Today as I seek the Lord anew, He leads me to think back to the birth of Christ, and with that remembrance comes the words of the Angel as he answered her response to the news that she, a virgin, would bear the child of God. “How can this be?”
“Nothing shall be impossible with God!”
As I think of you this season, I realize that God is birthing something in each of you that has a sense of the impossible when we look at it from a human standpoint. But like the Angel said to Mary, “Nothing shall be impossible with God.” May this spirit of Christmas miracles bring your heart to rejoicing with a renewed sense of hope for this dream in your heart. Have a very Merry Christmas!
