I truly feel motivated after looking through several beautiful blogs and pages that really helped me focus. I have been planning to start dieting today (my husband and I just got back from vacation yesterday) for several days and I am newly motivated.

I want to feel sexy and beautiful and happy again...and I am always my happiest when I am in shape and exercising regularly. I am hoping this journey will be worthwhile and make me a better, happier person.

My Program:
I am going to try to eat completely clean
- Fruits
- Veggies
- Whole Grain Breads
- Egg Whites
- Air popped popcorn
- Oatmeal
**Anyone else eating clean and can give me tips I'd appreciate it**

-Start by walk/running 30-45 minutes a day and work up from there
- Drink 8 glasses of water a day
- Excercise at least 6 days a week

Personal Information:
I am from NW Indiana (born and raised in Chicago!). I am married to a wonderful man and we are working on rehabbing our house, which is crazy and giving me excuse after excuse to not cook, eat healthy, work out etc.

I am also a high school English teacher, which I really do love.

I love my dog and I can't wait until our house is somewhat completed so that she can move back in!

**I would love to meet some people through here that could motivate me and help me along and I'd love to do the same for them! **

    3 years ago I was really out of shape (aroound 200 pounds), so I started walking then gradually I added jogging. 2min jog, 3 min walk and then added more jogging, till I can run for 30 min without walking. With time I increase the time and now I know that I can run for an hour without problem. I am not very fast, my regular pace is 6 min par km. So I am working on speed now. The best tips that I can give to you is to listen to your body. It is normal to be sore but not for a whole week. Be sure to have good running shoes. It makes a real difference. With motivation you can accomplish all your goal.
    It is to stay motivateg that I sign in for races. I live in Montreal, Canada so there is a web site call courir.org for races around here. I do not really know about in USA. I receive runners worls magazine and at the end you have a calendar with races to comes. Maybe if you go to their web site you can find races near you. I am here if you have other questions.

    We could post to each other page what type of run we do everyday, if you want to.

    Welcome to the Half Marathon team and good luck with your goals this year. My best advice: pick a race, register right away and find a training plan you are comfortable with. I used a personalized training plan from runnersworld.com but I've also heard great things about Hal Higdon's plans.
