Weight loss rerun looking for support towards a healthier lifestyle

I'm a weight loss rerun! Over the years I've gained and lost the same 35 pounds and have accumulated a closet full of clothes in 4 different sizes. Since being diagnosed with osteopenia I tried to exercise daily and committed to a healthier lifestyle. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and enjoy the outdoors whenever possible.

I've always been a sugar junkie and since menopause it really gives me a fit. It'll cause hotflashes so bad the sweat will be pouring off my face. So I'm trying to cut the sugar down just as much as I possibly can.
Hope you can find your own relief from it.

Welcome to SparkPeople! I am so glad you found my Sparkversary blog inspiring. One of the most important lessons I am learning on SparkPeople is that each person's journey is different. We all have different obstacles to overcome and we all go a different pace. Accepting where we are in life, accepting our own journeys -- accepting our own selves as we are -- is a big factor in success. Comparing ourselves to others leads to frustration, guilt, and giving up. Doing this one day at a time at our own pace, and forgiving ourselves when we fall, is how we will be successful.

Welcome to the 50+ Females team! I think we have all gained a lost the same pounds over the years. The really great thing I learned here was that it is not a diet, it is a complete change in lifestyle.
