Hello Rhaecates! Welcome to Sparkpeople, and thank you for adding me as a friend. It is so appreciated. You and I are at the same weight thereabouts. I had started gaining in the past year or so and have stuck to SP nevertheless. I have been going through major life changes so I am extremely grateful to have had SP to prevent further damage.
I have a strong belief in God and appreciate that you want your focus to be about reaching out and now settling within. I struggle with food cravings and bingeing. I joined the Living Binge Free Team and especially like the 21-day-binge-free thread, which is do-able and inspiring. The women on that thread are so often my kindred spirits.
I especially love the photographs of you and your beautiful boys. You are fotunate to have so much love and support around you. That will hold you in good stead in your weightloss goals.
Do stay in touch and we can monitor each other throughout. I am running every day for 40 minutes and trying to get an hour walk in in the evenings. My children are almost grown and I know that when you have young children, it is not always easy to find the time to work out.
