My name is Rachel. I am from Lubbock. I am an x-ray tech. I work an off shift. I come from a big family. I was raised a fat kid. I hated it and have realized that is not what I want for myself anymore. I started my diet Aug 08. I have lost 61 pounds since then. I love where I am at now, because being smaller is alot easier. My Goals:
The reason I started my diet was to help me get pregnant. Now I just want to put my BMI in check and get healthy.

My Program:
I have completely stopped drinking sodas. Now days I only drink water or tea. I try to eat more balanced meals that include veggies. Last but not least I have to have my fruits. Im addicted to them now. They're my new chocolate.

Personal Information:
I am an x-ray tech. I like to shop now that I can shop at regular stores. I like to buy presents for people. I like to go to church. I love to read! I collect pens. I am backwards compared to the rest of the world because I work an off shift.

Other Information:
Put GOD first. Anything is possible if God is on your side (and he always is).

I have my 37 week appt tomorrow and I am curious to see how dilated and effaced I am compared to last week. it is exciting!

Oh my word! It is SOOO good to hear from you! Glad to hear all is going well. We are so excited and nervous of course as well. Our lives are about to change BIG TIME!

Tomorrow I will be officially 8 months pregnant! My belly is getting bigger by the second I think but you know I have to say I LOVE it!! I just love being pregnant. I will miss it dearly.

Please post some pics soon, I would love to see them! I need to post some more as well. We have to take every moment to enjoy this journey before it passes us by.....then a new journey will begin!

Hey! I agree, God has a way of placing people in your life at the right moment for sure! He knows our EVERY need!! In terms of websites, I have found a few I will get together tonight and send you. It talks about ST while pregnant and all the details of what we need to know. Yes, we can still workout and stay fit but there are a few things that we just need to be careful about.

I am getting over a bad upper respiratory infection right now so everything is off the table for me right this second but I was walking, doing pushups, squats things like that before I got sick. I only ran for a bit, I am not running anymore because of a knee injury and the last thing I need is hurt it further while pregnant. But run/walking works for me. I am looking for a prenatal yoga class to join as well.

I hope your day is a GREAT one!! Are you still logging your foods? I am doing that and it is helping me see if I have enough protein, and vitamins etc...

This is an AMAZING blessing from God! Enjoy every second!!!
