Hey Girlfriend!!!! I am not 20 something but I was....and I was just about where you are...the only thing is...you are younger and smarter. I am nearly 62 and not until I was 60 did I get the motivation to over come the emotional over eating, and mindless eating, the "I will settle for being heavy" attitude. I am sooooooo glad I fell out of bed..got a bloodclot...went to the hospital and finally am getting to a "closer" to normal weight.
At TOPS this week I weighed in at 189.8 that is not great..but 2 years ago I was305. Now I eat less, move more and post a lot on the Spark People. Please visit my page and throw everything aside and put you and your health and your looks #1. YOu deserve to be young, thin, lively and happy. Take the step and don't look back.
Hey, girl!!!!! I can tell by the tone of your page that you're a bit frustrated and ready to get rid of some weight. But let me tell you, soon you'll be erasing that title of "Something's gotta give..." and changing it to "Something Gave!!!" You CAN do it. I know it seems like the bond of emotional eating is too great to overcome, but I promise you that you CAN overcome it. It doesn't happen overnight and it wont be easy, but you will be so thankful that you did it and you will be healthy, comfortable and a success. Just remember that just because it's not easy doesn't mean you can't do it. So what if it's going to take some effort? Life would be so boring if it were too easy. You are at the weight I was at when I started my journey. I never thought I would be in the 160's or a size 10. But it wont be long till I'm at my goal of 140 lbs. It takes determination and CONSISTENCY! On the days when you are feeling like it's hopeless, just keep pressing on. Because little by little you will see great success. Let me know if you need anything. 2987 days ago
