Nothing feels so good.... as Peace feels.

I started on Spark in September 2011. I had good success for about a year, then I struggled with up/down, up/down. I lost 100# when I was 60, then gained it all back, the lost 100# when I was about 70 - and now have gained it all back. I really want to be healthy, but sweets are like cocaine I guess... One bite and I'm off into a pit. God has amazingly kept me healthy despite the abuse I have done to my body.

So here we are in late 2015 and I am miserable, can't bend over to ...

So here we are in late 2015 and I am miserable, can't bend over to put on socks without feeling miserable! Starting again 11/5/15. Getting old and getting fat again has been miserable.

I'm thanking God for His strength, His leading, and His protection through all my ups and downs.

Thank you for stopping by my page! I do like MN. very well but glad to be out of the winters. Too many night hours of driving on ice to get to work as I did the night shift. At one point I worked at the old HCGH in the ER and loved it so when I left there to get married, I ended up out at Waconia in the ER then to Supervisor for 35 yrs. The organization has been growing by leaps and bounds. When I am at home, I volunteer at the 212 Medical center as a receptionist which I love doing. We have been in TX for 14 months now. Didn't get home this year except for funerals and a critically ill son. My mom lives here and fell, breaking the ulna & femur on 3/15. Just got her back into her home 2 weeks ago and now looking forward to a long weekend at the Island. Hope she does well without us here. Thank you for the note. Have a wonderful & enjoyed Thanksgiving! Will you be celebrating with family?

Thank you for such a wonderful "Hot Tub" goodie.
Wish I had one of my own for daily use.
Welcome back.
You know what to do, and how important the maintenance part of our journey is to our life,
I learned that as much as I felt I had my food addiction beat, without commitment I could easily slip back into eating foods not helpful to my wellbeing.
I have time to stay active with Spark. It doesn't take long to list foods. Along the way I have had to make adjustments .
I will follow you on the friends feed.
You will have my support in any way you need.
Spark on.

Hi, Lois. I thought of you the other day (as I often do) when I heard your nephew interviewed on the radio about the bird flu here in Iowa. I miss you, my friend. I hope things are going well for you and that you are staying healthy and busy! Hugs, Jeannie emoticon emoticon
