A Little Time For Me!

I am a caregiver for my disabled husband, my Mom and my Dad. I have worked outside the home also for 31 years and was forced into retirement by losing my job due to the office closing. I realized that I have been taking care of everyone else and not myself. I found out I have CAD and now have to do something to help myself or I won't be here to take care of anyone else.

Thank you for your kind words on my blog today. I hope you never have to know the pain of your Dad not knowing who you are. Best wishes. Joann

“Having a positive mental attitude is asking how something can be done rather than saying it can't be done.” ~ Bo Bennett

I truly think a positive attitude is half the battle in weight loss. First, we need to believe that we can be successful; then, we need to believe that we DESERVE to be successful! We need to find our own personal “how” to reach our success and to keep trying until we do find it.

emoticon for the information. I am always tweaking things, and your use for this sounds similar to the things I have done with pumpkin, acorn squash, etc. Sweet potatoes, probably have a different flavor, but I substitute many things! emoticon
