Trying to Stay on Track to Reach My Goals

I started this amazing journey with SparkPeople in April 2009. My eldest was almost 6 months old and I had decided enough was enough. 223 pounds was going to be my max...and I was done with it. I needed more energy and it was time that I felt better about myself. My husband and I cleaned out the junk food from the kitchen and I started moving. Even though I stay at home with my kiddos finding the time AND the energy to work out and cook healthy meals wasn't easy. BUT...I did it.

I needed more energy and it was time that I felt better about myself. My husband and I cleaned out the junk food from the kitchen and I started moving. Even though I stay at home with my kiddos finding the time AND the energy to work out and cook healthy meals wasn't easy. BUT...I did it.

By December of 2009 I had lost 50 pounds and very shortly after reaching that awesome milestone I discovered I was pregnant with another little munchkin.

I strayed from SparkPeople during my 2nd pregnancy. Walked when I could, ate okay, but generally took it easy. Or as easy as my eldest would let me.

By January 2011 I was back up to 200 and ready to start SparkPeople back up again. I started C25K and found that I really loved running. By December 2011 I was down to 148, making my total pounds lost 75 pounds!!

We had moved in December 2011 and for some reason it took me longer to get into the swing of things that I would have liked. On March 21st I weighed in at 143. 80 pounds under my original starting weight. I was insanely happy. Really just 10 short pounds from my ultimate goal. Honestly, I have no excuse for what happened after that.

I got comfortable with my new weight and started getting lazy. Couldn't figure out a new work out plan...came up with all kinds of reasons to eat badly and not get out and move. I tried to start back up again several times, but always seemed to slide back.

It's 2013 now. Last year was bad, this year WILL be better. I am going to remember all the things that rejuvenate and motivate me and stick with it. Now, it's time to get serious about eating the way I should. I've done it before I WILL do it again.

Personal Information:
I am a SAHM of two crazy, beautiful, smart, sweet...CRAZY boys.

I love to do lots of crafty things. Sewing, photography, crochet, scrapping. LOVE it.

Last year I discovered that I have a love of running. I'm not speedy, I sometimes have to stop and walk, but I love the freedom I feel and I love that it always helps to clear my head. My best ideas always come when I'm running.

Aww no I'm sorry to hear that! Yea, definitely don't want that secret, lol. Just make sure you are getting your nutrients and stuff, drink healthy smoothies or something.

She is a flippin beast. I've been doing level 1 of my biggest loser DVD (which bob does) and I added on level 2 this week (which is done by Jillian) and I'm ready to fall over and die after I finish.

Haha right? If I slow down she yells for me to run faster. I would love to have her energy. She NEVER gets tired, I swear. I'm just gonna continue to work on it. I know my body is feeling it, all my muscles are sore from all the running. I swear I didn't know running used so many muscles!
