Are you talking about Anre in my banner photo? We took that photo early this winter when he was so upset about going out in the dangerous temps. I was trying to keep his ears up and dry but he wouldn't move with the scarf on so we couldn't keep doing that. He is such a stubborn old man! HIs way or no way. Ha! Over the course of this winter he has just resolved he has to go out into the snow. I bet he is as glad as me though that its all melting right now.

I've thought of you and Aspen often while going through the emotions of seeing Anre age and making decisions about him. Thank you for reaching out to me.

When you get an extra minute be sure to read my post on Suri's new home. I think you'll like it.

Kathryn is near Portland. It's a 2 day drive from here. It's a pretty drive though. It isn't a job she went to school for, but at least it is a job. She couldn't find one here. That's why she moved up there. Her friends helped her get the job. Once she is there a while, she can look for something she will like better.

Yes, they're metal spikes that puncture the ground/snow/ice. People use them for hiking in the winter. I think there's 20-30 spikes per foot so that's a lot of grip-age. Just what I need when going downhill where the coop is.
