Personal Information:
I had a golden retriever who was a real fight, a cancer survivor, Aspen. She fought for 4 wonderful years. She is still my best friend.

After Aspen, I had Utah. He was my lover. He let me kiss on him as much as I wanted. He was my boy. He had epilepsy.

I miss them both. I have a great husband and Sierra is out rough and tumble golden. She is a 'farm girl' who loves going to our acreage (on weekends).

Spark has been a huge help to me. I have made some priceless friendships.

The glaze was hot when I spooned it over the cake. You can have it room temp or refrigerated. I like mine cold but I've had it room temp when I brought it for holiday celebrations with others.

emoticon I got caught up with life here ... sorry. emoticon

Let the cake cool then poke holes (with a fork). If you try to poke holes when it's hot it will fall apart. emoticon not a pretty picture emoticon

I poured the glaze over after about two hours of cooling, put it into a cheapo Walmart cake carrier and sat it out on the deck overnight. This morning I brought it in, spooned the middle drippings that settled over the cake again. It will be thicker. I sat it back outside because I'm not cutting into it until tomorrow.

Tonight prime rib roast w/homemade horseradish sauce, garlic mashed red potatoes and buttered carrots. That's enough!

Tomorrow another feast! emoticon

emoticon You're too funny!

It's a bundt cake pan. The batter doesn't have any choice when it bakes. Check on it after 45-50 min. My oven bakes quick so I didn't have to bake for an hour. Just put a toothpick in and if it comes out clean then it's done if it's wet then let it go for 10 min longer.

When you make the glaze in a pan on the stove let it bubble and get to like a loose syrup. I think I cooked mine for about 15 min but stir it constantly.

I'm going to make a lemon pie. I have a little bit of time on my hands and ingredients so what the heck.

You got this! emoticon
