I am so blessed with the ability to share with you my journey.
I tend to be an emotional eater. This is the area where I have struggled for years.
I am confident that I am able to overcome this area that has tripped me up for years.
I am not where I was a year ago, but I have a long ways to go to reach my goal weight, which is to one day weigh around 140 pounds.

My Goals:
1. For Breakfast I have been drinking my health drink, taking my vitamins and making sure to walk first thing in the morning.

2. I will work toward drinking more water and cutting away from my diet the junk.

3. I will continue to drink water.

4. I will read material to help me better understand nutrition, motivation and wellness.

5. i will read other blogs submitted by fellow sparkers and encourage them that they too can do it.

My Program:
Simplicity is the key.
I will be cutting down on what I eat.
I will be recording what I eat so I can be aware of calories consumed. My goal to stay within the limits Spark People gives to me.
I will be walking 5 days a week.

Personal Information:
I am happily married to a wonderful supportive husband.
We are Pastoring a new work and are excited to see what God is going to do in the lives He calls us to minister to.
Please keep us in your prayers.

Other Information:
I love worship music, the classics, and instrumental music.
I love to teach the word of God and I am here for you to pray and encourage you in this walk called faith.

    Remember just because it is a Holiday Weekend doesn't mean you can't have a good time and stay on track... just watch be sure to weight the hamburger meat out to 3-4 ounces, layer it with plenty of veggies like lettuce, cucumbers, onions, radishes or your favorites!! Try adding some grilled vegetables to the list... Family BBQ's can be the greatest way to get your family on board to trying fresh grilled vegetables and "Yes" even grilled "Fruits"... Try gilled fruit and veggie kabobs... along with your favorite salsa. Even visit Chef Meg for some of her favorite recipes for grilling!!

    Remember to Plan for those desserts to, no more than 1/8th of a slice if you put it on your tracker!! You should have plenty of room for it!! Let's be Happy with our choices, not sorry about it later! emoticon
