I am marriied with four grown children, We have 11 grandchildren and two great grandchild. I was introduced to SPARKPEOPLE.COM February 2010 by my dietician and have lost 60 pounds. I exercise each morning on a stationary bike for 45 to 60 minutes. I look forward to a continued regimen of diet and exercise. I retired from the U.S. Coast Guard with a disability in 1979. My wife of 52 years and I both ride our own Harley-Davidsons and enjoying touring Canada and United States. Our longest ride ...

REJOHNSON3, thank you for the word of encouragement on my blog. I know it was a few days ago, but I am still figuring this all out.

As you reiterated, my blog was seeking to point out the need to stick it out, go slow and steady and look at things differently. I hope someone else who gets off to a fast start, but fizzles out quickly will read this and try to find a different way to look at his/her situation, sticking it out.
