Going Primal

For almost 2 weeks now I've followed the Primal Blueprint way of eating. I lost 5 lbs the first week and am free of my daily migraines (no meds now!) and have experience little to no inflammation of my arthritis. I'm totally on the bandwagon!

My Goals:
I want to be able to go into a clothing store and buy clothes. That's a simple long-term goal.

Short term, I want to be able to run a mile in 20 mintes, nonstop.

Personal Information:
I was born and raised in North Carolina. My ENTIRE family is still there. I miss them dearly, as well as the state itself, but I'm pretty happy here in Texas. I've moved 3 times in the last 3 1/2 years. I lived in Illinois for 2 years and before that I lived in Georgia.



Other Information:
My fave movie is The Wizard of Oz. I have degrees in Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation so, of course, I love reading legal/crime thrillers. I like hard rock/metal, alternative rock, jazz, and classical music.

I'm loving the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris and of course I LOVE the Twilight Saga! (like everybody else)

First let me say a BIG WAHOOOOOOOO! To everyone who is at least working towards a fitness goal!!! YOU LADIES ROCK!!!!!

Second, I want to apoligize for being such a cuddy leader here this last 2 months!!! With the move and now getting over being sick, I am hopful to get back on track with trying to reach a fitness goal this month! I reallllllly need to get back to taking walks daily in prep for labor with this baby. I am so out of shape AGAIN. I am getting winded just climbing the 1/2 flight of stairs in our house... so December is the month! I am really counting on your ladies to keep me accountible.

I know December is a hard month to stay focused on what we need to be doing, with all the family get togethers, shopping, cooking, parties ect... BUT let's give it a whirl! Remember if you don't have your health, the other parts of your life are going to suffer in a big way! So who is up for the super challenge of staying focused during such a busy month?

I have just made Decembers challenge, hop over and join up.. make a plan for the month.. DON'T forget the mini-rewards! And let's make December spark with our efforts towards a healthier us!
