Patience obtains all things. God alone suffices." That prayer helped me get through many difficult times in my life. With as much weight as I have to lose I have to remember "Patience obtains all things." With patience I can lose slowly and safely and get my life back. "There is hope for your future, says the Lord." Jeremiah 31:17

My Goals:
I have to get my act together. I can't imagine Obamacare will be any help at all. I may need to get a second job. Lose weight Provide my body with nutrients it needs Get physically fit Stay the course no matter what. Use Spark People to help me keep my motivation up when my real, physical life isn't doing the job.
My Program:
1. Make healthier food choices. b. Get enough calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat. a. eat more fruits and vegetables. 2. Exercise 30 min. at least 4x a week. a. Walking Away the Pounds Video. b. Walk with someone outdoors. c. Try other forms of exercise. d. Wii fitness and Sports 3. Keep track of fitness and food intake on Spark People.com 4. Turn off the TV. a. when I eat b. when it's not interesting anyway c. read more books 5. Tidy up at least one area of the house each day so I can enjoy weekends more. 6. Log in and keep active on the SP website. a. communicate with Spark Friends. b. encourage other spark members c. Earn sparkpoints so I can give spark goodies. d. When lacking motivation ask for help getting back on track.
Personal Information:
The new Core Curriculum, unwrapping the standards, differentiated instruction, and preparing for accreditation is consuming my life. I'm typing this on my iPhone!
Other Information:
When is George RR Martin going to come out with his next book? Or Sue Grafton for that matter. Reading is my anchor. I wish I could say exercise was my anchor.
