At this point, I probably weighed as much as The King when he died (I'm in front of Elvis in LV)

That's Elvis under the blanket...all I wanted was a new picture in front of the Elvis statue.

My continuing journey....

I started this journey in 2002 at a record high of 250+ (not sure, it may have been higher). I lost 60 pounds and kept it off until January 2005 when it started to creep back on. I have yo-yo'd around 180 for the last 3 years.

It's time to buckle down, get serious and kick some butt!!!

2010 Events:
February - Love 'em or Leave 'em 5K (#1)
March - St. Patrick's Day Dash 5K (#7)
April - Boardwalk 5K for Kids (#2)
May - Beat the Bridge 8K (#1) ...

Thanks for the blog comment! I agree with you 100% about how even fake sweets can bring cravings. In fact, I went through 18 cups of 10 calorie jello in 3 days emoticon . So I figure I'll only have them when I'm motivated to actually make the effort to go shopping to buy them. That seriously cuts down on my giving in.

haha that's an awesome name for a book. my first tri is in august and im def going to be slow but not really "fat" anymore. ive bravely entered the world of "normal" BMI. lol. but that sounds awesome. i had a wonderful plan mapped out where i was biking 3 days a week, doing teh C25k program 3 days, and swimming 3 days... but after my accident that's all been messed up. we'll see. ill start doing it more again. i was starting to enjoy it. one day at a time. best way to learn how to be flexible is to have everything go wrong at once lol

I am likely going to have a hysterectomy in April (long story) so that has nixed my 26.2 plans for 2009. (I won't be able to exercise for 6 weeks.)

I'll enter the lottery again for Nike and see if it hits and then try to get the money together. If I can get the money together and don't do the Nike then I am going to join some folks from Spark and do the Rock N Roll Half Marathon in San Antonio in November.
