Just popping in to say "Hi" and share some valuable information that you may or may not already know! If you know it already then pass it on to someone else cuz it's great info.

I knew Almonds were good for you...but I didn't know how good!
Just 1/4 cup of almonds contains nearly 25% of your needed daily value of the important nutrient magnesium, plus is rich in potassium, manganese, copper, the antioxidants vitamin E and selenium, and calcium (Almost as much calcium as a quarter cup of milk).

Almonds are good for the colon and the best nut for lowering cholesterol because 70 percent of the fat they contain is the healthy monounsaturated variety (which has been shown to help unclog arteries).

I hope you are having a great week and things are going well for you.

emoticon Hello friend! emoticon

I don't know how it is where you live, but here it's that time of year again when a lot of people are working in their yards and are met by slugs! Yucky slimy slugs! Personally I loathe making contact with them. Of all Gods creatures, I can find no use for those leaf devouring creatures. There are ways to rid them from your gardens; but its not pretty. Everyone knows about salt, but salt is not good for your plants either! But did you know that slugs won't cross over copper? Just place strips of copper around flower pots or raised beds and make sure vegetation doesn't hang over the copper because slugs will use it as a bridge!

Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!
