Corn-Fed.
I'm 26 years old from corn-fed Iowa. I live with my boyfriend-- we love playing video games, along with the Kinect (active games). Boyfriend loves to cook and has been trying to break me of the fast food habit I adopted in college. I put on about 30 pounds since I was 20. I overexercised in my college freshman year to the point of injury. At that point, I was at my fittest (about 160 pounds), but also eating without a plan, which led to weight gain after I stopped exercising. ...

However, I want to get back in shape so that I have more confidence and power.

My Goals:

My Program:
I cut out sugary drinks and use stevia in my coffee and smoothies. I have several dietary restrictions-- I have GERD and I'm lactose intolerant-- so I need to stick to a short list. I have tracked my calories on Livestrong for over a year so I am very familiar with the patterns and pitfalls in my diet. One major weakness is carbs like bread and pasta. Since I have cut those foods from my diet, I have had a ton of energy and my blood sugar has really stabilized. Due to past injuries, such as severe tendonitis from overexercising and the knee surgery I had a couple of years ago after a bicycle accident, I want to stick to a light workout. Right now I'm back on the bike.
