A wise man (Muhammad Ali, I believe) once said that is the not the mountains that wear you down but the rock in your shoe.

So true.

I am at the point in my life where I have climbed the mountains and now it is just a matter of dealing with those pesky rocks!

Anyway, my focus has changed from weight loss to weight maintenance, stress management, and overall being the type of person that I would like to be.

My Goals:
Spend quality time with my husband and grow together as a couple

Eat a diet that is low in oxalate but still rich in vegetables and fiber

Exercise, meditate or soothe myself without food when I feel stress

Do activities that enrich my life

Invest in myself by taking care of my appearance

Survive these last *hopefully* two semesters of graduate school with grace

My Program:
3 days a week: 50 to 60 minutes of pilates / yoga (currently using exhale Core Fusion DVDs)

3 days a week: 45 to 60 minutes of cardio which may or may not include dancing, jumping jacks, jump rope, stationary cycling, bicycling or such

Have active recovery on days I do not workout

Trade up some of those other intense cardio days for longer periods of recreational stuff like swimming or long walks and hiking
