Goal: Slimmer and healthier in 2008

Hey there! My name is Rebecca, and I am getting married on September 13, 2008. The wedding is only one reason for wanting to lose weight and live healthier, though. I want to have more energy, be stronger, and not be sweaty all the time!

I do a food diary EVERY day, trying to stay under 1600 calories. Oh yeah, I need to get to the gym!

Hi Rebecca! I was just doing a search for people around my area. Do you by chance go to a 24 hour fitness center in FDL? That is where I go (or SHOULD go more often) and thought we could support each other in our journey and possible work out at the same time .

Hi Rebecca :) Just reading your page and wanted to wish you luck with your goals. You are doing so well so far. Congrats on the upcoming wedding. :) How exciting. You will be a beautiful bride. Just some advice on the gym...totally get into it. I used to work out in hs with swim team but dropped off the bandwagon my first year of college. This was my low. After getting a job working for our campus sports facilities, I started to feel GREAT again. I had to take advantage of the free gym membership. Exercise does so much for your body ..so much beyond helping it lose weight..you gain muscle, calm stress, feel empowered and realize that you can do more than you thought you could!!! Make it a habit and it'll be one that you can't step away from and break. Working out has become my oxygen. I can't survive without it. Now only if I could eat well..I'd be one foxy chic :)
